Fans of “The Reem” needn’t worry too much about the heavyweight champion following his latest knockout loss.
Alistair Overeem looks much better after losing in ugly fashion to Jairzinho Rozenstruik less than two weeks ago at UFC on ESPN 7. After winning the majority of the contest, Overeem was stopped in the closing seconds by a hard punch that opened up a gruesome cut on the former Strikeforce champion’s mouth.
The injury didn’t dampen Overeem’s spirit. Later that evening, he was already cracking jokes about his injury, and on Thursday at a media day ahead of UFC Busan, he shared an image of his face, which was in much better condition.
