An intriguing flyweight bout is in the works for the UFC’s return to South Korea as Alexandre Pantoja is expected to meet Matt Schnell on Dec. 21.
Multiple sources close to the fight confirmed the news to MMA Fighting on Wednesday after Schnell first mentioned the matchup on social media. This will be the UFC’s first trip to the city of Busan after previously holding an event in Seoul.
Schnell has rattled off four wins in a row in the flyweight division after starting off his UFC career with a pair of losses.
