A Brazilian showdown has been booked for UFC 240 in Canada, as flyweights Alexandre Pantoja and Deiveson Figueredo meet at the Rogers Place in Edmonton on July 27.
Multiple sources confirmed the booking to MMA Fighting following a report by Combate.
Pantoja (21-3) is riding his longest winning streak since joining the UFC in 2017, including first-round stoppage victories over Wilson Reis and Ulka Sasaki. The former TUF 24 contestant won five of six bouts since coming out of the reality show.
Figueiredo (15-1) will attempt to get back on track after suffering his first professional loss to Jussier Formiga in March.
