Alexander Volkanovski was on the sidelines watching Max Holloway beat Frankie Edgar by decision at UFC 240. Now, the expectation is that the Hawaiian will defend his featherweight crown against the Aussie later this year.
Volkanovski hopes that the fight happens in Melbourne at UFC 243, but even if it doesn’t, he just wants that fight. He knows he has what it takes to beat Holloway and is confident in his game to do so.
“Knockout power and I believe that I’m comfortable out of range as well,” Volkanovski said in an interview after the UFC 240 pay-per-view broadcast.
