Alexander Hernandez will move to 145 pounds for a matchup with Billy Quarantillo at UFC 282.
Iridium Sports Agency, which represents both fighters, announced the booking on Wednesday. UFC 282 takes place on Dec. 10 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and is expected to feature a light heavyweight championship rematch between Jiri Prochazka and Glover Teixeira.
The 29-year-old Hernandez compiled a 5-4 record at lightweight, with notable wins over the likes of Beneil Dariush, Olivier Aubin-Mercier and Francisco Trinaldo.
