If Ryan Bader was pissed at the UFC 187 post-fight press conference, then steam must be coming out of “Darth’s” ears right now. On this week’s edition of “UFC Tonight,” UFC president Dana White said former top contender Alexander Gustafsson (pictured) will get first crack at freshly-minted light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier.
White didn’t confirm exactly when the two would tango.
This is a somewhat surprising move since Gustafsson is coming off January’s vicious first round TKO loss to Anthony Johnson. Johnson went on to lose to Cormier for the vacant light heavyweight title last month at UFC 187.
