With a return to MMA nearing for Jon Jones, Alexander Gustafsson is calling his shot.
The UFC light heavyweight contender wants a rematch against Jones, who was recently suspended 15 months by USADA, the UFC’s anti-doping partner. Jones, who failed a drug test related to his UFC 214 rematch against Daniel Cormier in July 2017, is eligible to return to the cage next month.
With Cormier, the current heavyweight and light heavyweight champion, likely fighting Brock Lesnar next, Gustafsson hopes to fight Jones for the 205-pound belt should “DC” vacate it.
“Congratulations @jonnybones I’m really glad u are back!
