Aleksander Emelianenko will headline Russian Cagefighting Championship’s sixth event on May 4 in Chelyabinsk, Russia. Emelianenko's opponent is still unknown, but it will definitely be a fighter from outside Russia.
“The sixth tournament will take place in Chelyabinsk. It will be the the biggest mixed martial arts tournament for the city,” RCC executive manager Nikolai Klimenko said. “We are planning that Aleksander Emelianenko will perform in the main fight of the evening. We are considering several options for foreign rivals for him, including Francimar Barroso, with whom Aleksander was supposed to fight in December.
