It was his mom's kickboxing class that started it all for UFC bantamweight Alejandro Perez.

Perez, or better known as ‘El Diablito', which translates to the little devil from Spanish, recalls where it all began for his MMA career, leading up to his UFC Fight Night 94 bout with Albert Morales.

"When I was around 13, 14 years old there was a kickboxing school very close to home," Perez told MMA Fighting. "My mom and sister have always liked exercising, and my mom liked martial arts a lot, so she started kickboxing and she invited my sister and they enjoyed it a lot, so they stayed there for a while, like around a year.
