The July 7 kickoff for the week of UFC 200 has a new bout, as all-action fighter Alan Jouban will meet “Ultimate Fighter” veteran Nordine Taleb at UFC Fight Night 90 in Las Vegas.
The Los Angeles Daily News first reported the welterweight contest on Tuesday. UFC Fight Night 90 takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, headlined by UFC lightweight champion defending his title against former Bellator MMA 155-pound champion Eddie Alvarez.
The 33-year-old Jouban was brutally knocked out by streaking Russian Albert Tumenov at UFC 192 last October, but rebounded in impressive fashion at the UFC Fight Night card headlined by Mark Hunt and Frank Mir in March, battering Australian Brendan O'Reilly with punches and elbows.
