In the immediate chaos following Conor McGregor’s infamous assault on a fighter van in Brooklyn on Thursday, Al Iaquinta had something off a premonition.
Iaquinta, who was scheduled to fight Paul Felder at UFC 223 in a lightweight matchup, was in the van with headliner Khabib Nurmagomedov, who was the target of McGregor’s ire.
“When that happened, Khabib was there, and they were sitting right behind us, and I just felt, like, a weird, it was weird, like ‘I’m going to fight this guy one day,’” Iaquinta said on Monday’s edition of The MMA Hour.
