Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight, Aljamain Sterling (12-1), was one of the hottest mixed martial arts (MMA) prospects that UFC had to offer prior to his fight against Brian Caraway (21-7) at UFC Fight Night 88 back in May. After a split decision loss that night to his bantamweight foe, Sterling’s hype has slightly tapered off.
“Funk Master” recently sat down with MMAmania.com correspondent and Combate Americas atomweight Nicdali Rivera-Calanoc to reflect on what he learned from the loss to Caraway.
“There was a lot of learning lessons in that fight for me,” said Sterling.
