UFC welterweights Abdul Razak Alhassan and Sabah Homasi will get a chance to run things back later this month.
Following the controversial finish to their UFC 218 undercard bout, Alhassan and Homasi have been booked for a quick turnaround rematch on Dec. 30 at UFC 219.
“That fight has already been re-booked ... for the end of the year card,” White said at UFC 218’s post-fight press conference. “(That’s) official.”
Alhassan (8-1) earned a polarizing first-round TKO win over Homasi (11-7) at UFC 218 due to an ill-timed stoppage by referee Herb Dean.
