FORTALEZA, Brazil — Charles Oliveira is on fire, and he wants another tough opponent inside the Octagon.
The jiu-jitsu specialist scored another submission victory Saturday night at UFC Fortaleza, tapping David Teymur with an anaconda choke at the Centro de Formação Olímpica in Fortaleza, Brazil, but the finish came after an incredible inverted elbow that rocked Teymur.
The inspiration? Anderson Silva’s epic knockout over Tony Fryklund in at Cage Rage 16 in 2006.
“I’ll say my entire life that I’m training this and no one will believe it,” Oliveira told MMA Fighting after the win.
