The main event at ONE on TNT I was a battle for the flyweight championship between champion Adriano Moraes and Demetrious Johnson.

Both men took the center of the cage to start the opening round. Adriano Moraes utilized his reach advantage, staying on the outside with kicks to keep Johnson at a distance. DJ closed the gap and landed a couple of well-placed knees from the Thai clinch. Moraes looked for a takedown and pulled guard to attack Johnson’s leg. When Johnson fell to his back, Moraes immediately took the top half guard position.
