In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Eastern Europe’s largest promotion, Absolute Championship Akhmat, has rescheduled two upcoming Russian events and postponed a third in Poland indefinitely.
Au0421A president Alexey Yatsenko told Sherdog.com, “The events planned for March and April in Russia were postponed to other dates because of Russia’s ban on organizing mass events of over 50 people. ACA 107 in Moscow was postponed to July 24, and ACA 106 in St. Petersburg to August 21. The place for the tournaments will be the same: Sibur-Arena in St. Petersburg and VTB-Arena in Moscow."
The main event of ACA 107 should be a duel between two of Russia’s most striking and charismatic fighters, Aleksander Emelianenko and Magomed Ismailov.
