Abu Dhabi’s Flash Entertainment sells their 10% UFC ownership to Endeavor

In January 2010, Zuffa announced that Flash Entertainment has purchased a minority stake in the UFC. The company, which is a subsidiary to the Abu Dhabi government, kept their ten percent ownership even after the former majority owners sold the UFC to WME-IMG for $4 billion in 2016.

In 2017, WME-IMG (now called Endeavor) secured $1.1 billion in investments, which was reportedly to “make it possible to buy out minority partners in UFC.” September of that year, the company bought out the remaining minority shares of the Fertitta brothers.

A year later, and they’re doing the same for Flash Entertainment’s remaining ten percent stake.
