Bad news for Khabib fans, as the undefeated UFC lightweight champion could retire within the next year.
That’s according to Khabib’s father — and coach — Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, who told Russian outlet TASS that ‘The Eagle’ is likely to retire after his 30th fight.
“For Khabib, 30-0 is enough,” Abdulmanap said, per BJPenn.com.
The 56-year-old would also like to see Nurmagomedov defend his UFC lightweight title in Moscow, Russia for his final fight.
“Regarding his last fight, then, of course, we would like his final title defence to be in Moscow,” Abdulmanap added.
