Aaron Pico will look to make it five in a row early next year.
The surging Bellator featherweight is scheduled to meet Henry Corrales at the promotion’s upcoming ‘tentpole’ event in January, Bellator officials confirmed Wednesday after a Los Angeles Times report.
Pico has quickly made waves in Bellator since falling short in his MMA debut to Zach Freeman in June 2017. Since that upset, Pico has gone 4-0. A streak that includes wins over Lee Morrison, Shane Krutchten, and Justin Linn. Most recently, the 22-year-old wrestling standout knocked out top contender Leandro Higo in September; a win that most would consider the biggest of his young, promising career.
