Another prominent fighter with UFC ties has signed with the Professional Fighters League.
Rick Story, who has 19 UFC appearances under his belt, announced during ”The MMA Hour” that he will enter PFL’s $1 million tournament, presumably at welterweight. Story joins Will Brooks as the latest former UFC talent to join the fledgling organization.
PFL is the rebranded version of the promotion formerly known as World Series of Fighting. Under its new format, there will be a regular season beginning on June 7, followed by postseason events on consecutive Saturdays in October.
