What happened to Robbie Rogers? The Galaxy fullback hasn’t played or practiced since the end of the 2016 season.
Kevin Baxter of the LA Times reported on Friday that, back in December, Rogers had surgery done on his foot, the third operation he has had in the past 16 months. Rogers, though, apparently had a bad reaction to an injection used during the operation, leaving him without any feeling in his foot. Because of the nature of this condition, there is no timeline for Rogers’ return to the field. He even thought about the possibility of retiring because of his foot:
