Jacobson’s well-placed volley gave the midfielder his first goal of the season for the Whitecaps, who defeated the Montreal Impact 2-1 on Saturday. This was the ninth goal of the veteran player’s nine-year career in the MLS.

It was a big night for Harrison on Saturday as his brace led NYCFC to three points on the road against the Columbus Crew.
