The FIFA U-20 World Cup draw took place on Wednesday as the 24-team field learned their fates in the group stage of the tournament. Group F will be the destination for the U.S U-20 team as they are paired with Ecuador, Saudi Arabia and Senegal.
An automatic spot was clinched by the Americans after they claimed the CONCACAF U-20 tournament earlier this month. They fell in their first match to Panama but went on to win their last five matches to claim the title, defeating Honduras in the final.
In 2015, the U.S team made it all the way to the quaterfinals before losing to Serbia on penalties.
