After a rather downheartening 3-0 thumping at the hands of Mexico, the U.S. Men’s National Team returned to action against Uruguay on Tuesday night hoping to answer many of the growing questions in the aftermath of a disastrous defeat to their greatest rivals.
Gregg Berhalter switched up his line-up, keen to experiment with a swathe of new players in a friendly that amounts to little in terms of the result, and was rewarded with a positive performance, Jordan Morris scoring the USMNT’s only goal in a 1-1 draw.
