The U.S. Men’s National Team brought the October international break to a close on Tuesday night, facing Peru in East Hartford, Connecticut.
After a 4-2 defeat to Colombia, the USMNT would have been hoping for a better result. They got one, a 1-1 draw against dangerous South American opposition, although the performance wasn’t quite so impressive.
Here are three things we learned from the 1-1 draw.

3. Passing, passing, passing
The U.S. have never had the best passers of the ball. It is simply not a part of the footballing culture; it is not a priority of the coaching in young players.
