The U.S. Men’s National Team return to the fore this weekend with two international friendlies. The first is this Friday night against Gold Cup rivals Mexico, who bettered Gregg Berhalter’s side in the CONCACAF Gold Cup final this summer.
It will be an intriguing test for the USMNT, who have surely been working on new wrinkles as Berhalter begins to settle into his role at the top of the U.S. tree. Mexico are often the measuring stick for the U.S., one they have frequently fallen short of.
