Following a stellar season with Vitesse in the Dutch Eredivisie, Matt Miazga is garnering attention from Ligue 1 side, Caen. The defender would be reportedly joining the French club on loan from Chelsea.
His time at Vitesse was also a loan spell that was an overall success in his development. Miazga made over 50 league appearances for Vitesse and scored three goals during his two seasons with the Dutch club.
This move to Caen would be a big step in the right direction for Miazga as he would foreseeably get plenty of regular playing time in one of Europe’s top five leagues.
