USMNT: CONCACAF U-20s Recap vs. El Salvador

History will could be made on Sunday as the USMNT will face Honduras in the final match of the CONCACAF U-20 tournament. This is the third time the U-20 side has made it to a final since the format changed. They have previously finished as runner-ups in 2009 and 2013.

In addition to the final appearance, the U.S secured their spot in the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Korea Republic. This is the 15th time the U.S has qualified for the competition. The tournament is set to begin on May 20th.

The match itself was a chippy one, as three players were sent off, including Sebastian Saucedo, who was involved in an altercation in the 89th minute.
