DeAndre Yedlin had been sidelined due to injury at the start of the Premier Leauge season for Newcastle United. The U.S. Men’s National Team defender has not featured at all in the English top-flight until Sunday when he entered as a substitute in the second half of a 5-0 loss to Leicester City. Despite the big loss to Leicester City, it was a glimmer of hope for Newcastle, who will hope Yedlin can return to form and resume his usual starting role.
Elsewhere in the Premier League, Christian Pulisic did not feature in Chelsea’s fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion.
