The U.S. Men’s National Team continue their Gregg Berhalter experiment this October with two matches against Cuba and Canada in the CONCACAF Nations League. It remains to be seen just how seriously Berhalter will take this competition, potentially using the matches like friendlies rather than qualification games, but the initial roster is interesting to look at.
There are some big omissions — I will touch on this later — as well as some interesting positional designations, all under the process of Berhalter.
