It’s been a long career for the 36-year-old Wright-Phillips, who has spent the past two season with the New York Red Bulls. He has went from England starter to now USL addition.
He came over to play in the United States after his stint with Queens Park Rangers in England ended in 2015. During his time in the Big Apple he only appeared in 21 Major League Soccer matches and scored one goal.
His career in England began back in 1999 when he played for Manchester City. He thrived at the club as he won the Young Player of the Year award four times in a row from 2000 to 2003.
