Just a few days removed from securing a spot in the US Open Cup semifinals, FC Cincinnati bested a record they had already set. Over 25,000 strong witnessed FCC take on Orlando City B, a match that ended in a 2-2 draw.
The attendance is impressive, but not too out of the ordinary compared to their average attendance this season. The hype that is following the team is likely to have helped bump that number up as well. Cincinnati will next host MLS side New York Red Bulls in US Open Cup play on August 15, following a Saturday game on the road against rival Louisville City.
