There were multiple upsets in the Open Cup this week as a number of NASL and USL sides were upset by lower division clubs. Here’s a look at those upsets.

- Reading United AC 3 New York Cosmos 2
- Michigan Bucks 1 Indy Eleven 0
- Chicago FC United 3 Pittsburgh Riverhounds 1
The two big names that went down early were the Eleven and the Cosmos of the NASL. Both of those sides played for the NASL championship last fall.
