Anderson Stadium, home of the Providence Friars, is an intimate stadium that holds only 3000. That’s one-seventh of the average attendance the Revolution see at Gillette Stadium. Both teams came out to a slow start until Rochester’s Joseph Farrell was sent off in the 40th minute for a second yellow card.
Three minutes later you could already tell the difference. New England was able to attack much more freely and Zachary Herivaux drew a penalty. Teal Bunbury stepped up to take the penalty and slotted it in the bottom right hand corner.
Although the Revolution led at the half, head coach Jay Heaps was not thoroughly impressed with the performance.
