While the MLS Cup Playoffs are underway, transfer rumors still abound, this time with NYCFC. The New York club will have to replace Italian legend, Andrea Pirlo, who will retire at the end of the season. Several names have popped up as potential replacements, but this time around its Colombian midfielder Macnelly Torres.
This isn’t the first time Torres has been linked with an MLS move, as this summer news broke that he had received multiple offers from MLS teams. This time around, Colombian news outlets are reporting that Torres will likely leave Atletico Nacional in favor of a move to NYC.
