The pipeline of South American talent coming to Major League Soccer could be about to add one more impressive talent. New York City FC has reportedly placed a $4-million transfer offer to Club Libertad Asuncion in Paraguay for promising midfielder, Jesus Medina.
The 20-year-old Medina broke the news himself while appearing on a Paraguayan radio station. Reportedly, Danish side FC Copenhagen is also after Medina.
Recent news indicates that City Football Group is purchasing Medina for Manchester City but plan on sending the youngster on loan to NYCFC for the 2018 season while he works on obtaining a UK work permit.
