Toronto FC got Week 10 of the MLS season off to an excellent start. Hosting the Philadelphia Union on Friday night, Toronto FC, after their enthralling CONCACAF Champions League exploits, returned to what is close to their strongest self.
The Union, meanwhile, equally desperate for the win, knew this would be a difficult trip, victims of the timings of the fixture schedule. In the end, it was a comfortable 3-0 win for the Canadians, who now look to work their way back up the MLS standings and into postseason contention once more.
