Toronto FC: Sebastian Giovinco runs wild in MLS Week 25

Toronto FC are on a historic tear for the 2017 MLS season. After finishing runners-up in MLS Cup last year following penalty kicks, TFC have run wild this season. They’ve amassed an astounding 56 points through 27 games, their closest competitor being NYCFC with 46. Toronto already won the Canadian Championship Cup, they’re the clear favorites to take home the MLS Supporters’ Shield, and they looked poised to make another MLS Cup run thereafter.

Much of Toronto’s recent success the last few seasons comes from the impressive play of Sebastian Giovinco. The Italian international has made quite the name for himself in MLS, earning the MVP award in 2015 along with making the league’s Best XI in 2015 and 2016.
