Last night, Toronto FC played in the first leg of the Quarter-Final against Tigres in the CONCACAF Champions League and came away with a 2-1 victory. While many pundits had Toronto as the underdogs, and with good reason, that still didn’t stop them.
TFC fell behind in the 62 minute when Eduardo Vargas scored. But in true TFC fashion they came right back with a goal of their own off a brilliant goal from Jozy Altidore. TFC continued to pile on more pressure later on in the game and eventually broke the deadlock when Jonathan Osorio scored on a beauty back-heel to win the game.
