With the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup set to kick-off next month, qualifying nations across North America have begun to release their provisional rosters for the upcoming tournament. As it stands, Toronto FC can expect to be without the services of five of their players during the span of the tournament.
TFC should fully anticipate lining up without starters Michael Bradley, Jonathan Osorio, and Jozy Altidore, while veteran defender Ashtone Morgan and 18-year-old Noble Okello were also named to Canada’s 23-man squad.
Leaving three gaping holes in their typical starting XI, Toronto FC will need to look elsewhere within the squad to fill the voids.
