It was high-octane, up and down, fast and furious for 90 minutes between Orlando City and Sporting Kansas City. At the end of the match a draw seemed like a fair result after one of the most entertaining matches of the season.
Peter Vermes raised some eyebrows as he picked Latif Blessing as the replacement for Dom Dwyer. The plan was to use the diminutive striker’s speed to bother Orlando’s backline and it was clearly successful.
Sporting opened the scoring with an ugly but effective goal from Blessing.
