Wednesday's game between the Seton Hall Pirates and Providence Friars was suspended midway through the second half after condensation on the floor at Dunkin' Donuts Center made for unsafe playing conditions, according to ESPN's John Brickley.
The playing surface at the arena, which also hosts AHL hockey games, became slippery due to unseasonably warm temperatures that caused the ice underneath the basketball court to melt.
Conditions were so bad that Seton Hall forward Desi Rodriguez was forced to leave the game after he slipped and suffered an apparent ankle injury.
According to the Providence Journal's Kevin McNamara, the game will resume Thursday at noon ET.
