Stanford sensation, Jordan Morris, has generated hype that we may never have seen from an American college soccer player before. Not only was he able to earn a spot on the national team before even turning pro, he was also able to garner interest from clubs across Europe.
Earlier in the week, it was revealed that Morris had turned down an offer from Bundesliga club, Werder Bremen, after spending time on a training stint with the team. Werder Bremen’s sporting director, Thomas Eichin, said that the youngster envisioned his future in America, and on Thursday that was confirmed.
