San Jose Earthquakes’ goal may be the best thing in soccer this season (Video)

There are some sports fans who just can’t get into the beautiful game of soccer. A lot of it centers around the lack of scoring in the game, as there have been plenty of matches that end with no score. But when there is scoring, it can sometimes be plays that have to be seen to be believed…and even then it still is hard to imagine what you just saw.

Such was the case of the following play involving the San Jose Earthquakes’ Quincy Amarikwa. During Sunday’s MLS game with the Portland Timbers, Amarikwa went through multiple defenders in conditions that were less than desirable before launching a shot from 30 feet out that was absolutely perfect with its placement and just snuck in for the goal:
