Metro New York reports Damien Perrinelle’s four-year stint with The Red Bulls is coming to an end. Metro New York claims The Red Bulls are set to offer Perrinelle a scouting role with the club if he decides to retire. In 2015, The Frenchman tore his ACL and then in 2016 suffered an ankle injury missing 4-6 weeks. Heading into 2017, Perrinelle fell in the depth chart behind Aaron Long and Aurelien Collin. Aurelien Collin’s injury woes put Perrinelle back into the starting lineup with the rookie Long.
Even after his injuries, the 34-year-old didn’t lose a step and had a great 2017 campaign.
