News broke this morning that goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey will be leaving the Portland Timbers to join the Rosenborg BK squad. This comes after Kwarasey has recovered from torn ligaments in his finger he sustained in April. He was listed as active on Sunday for the Timbers against the Seattle Sounders for the first time since injury, but his backup Jake Gleeson started over him.
Kwarasey is a Norwegian international born in Olso, Norway. Gavin Wilkinson, the Timbers’ general manager says that his transfer abroad “makes sense for Adam, his family and the Timbers”.
