The Philadelphia Union dominated the Columbus Crew on Saturday night at Talen Energy Stadium. A 3-0 win was the result of a fantastic team effort led by David Accam, who scored two goals in the first half and registered one assist on Ilsinho’s second-half strike to inspire the victory.
Saturday’s win was the first of the season for the Union. For the Crew, it was the opposite as the zero in the loss column will change for the first time in 2019. This was a match to forget for Caleb Porter and his players.
