The Philadelphia Union certainly have their man.
Jim Curtin has overseen an incredibly successful run of seasons as head coach of the Philadelphia Union, a tenure that includes the Supporters Shield last season. As such, it shouldn’t be a major surprise that Curtin has signed a two-year extension with the club.
On the job since becoming the team’s interim head coach in 2014, Curtin took the Union to the top record in MLS last year as well as three U.S. Open Cup finals. The team has made the playoffs in four of his five full seasons at the helm.
