Orlando City fans were shocked to find that on Wednesday night, Adrian Heath and Orlando City had parted ways. Along with Heath went his assistant head coach Mark Watson, who was also shown the door on Wednesday. The news came after a disheartening 4-0 loss to FC Dallas on Monday night, a loss that summarized the recent run of form that Orlando has gone through. The Orlando City front office decided that in order to turn this 2016 season around, they would need someone else to lead the team.
The sacking of Adrian Heath isn’t just the firing of any regular coach, it was getting rid of one of Orlando City’s founding fathers.
