It was an entertaining but ultimately disappointing trip to Florida for New York City FC. Opening their MLS campaign against Orlando City SC, the New Yorkers, who took a two-goal lead into half-time, would have been expecting to see out the victory come the final whistle.
But goals from Chris Mueller and Tesho Akindele hauled Orlando back to level terms and gave both sides a share of the spoils.
